DESCRIPTION
OEM 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Seville 390 Tripower Air Cleaner. The assembly has been media blasted and refinished in gloss gold to present a period correct image. The dual snorkels with round inserts are in excellent condition and retain all of the factory spot weld marks where they were attached to the base, as well as those that attach the internal air baffles to the snorkel itself. The base is clean and features the air ride supsension nipple, as well as the various indentations as stamped by the factory. It also features the prominent "C" stamped above each snorkel, indicating branch of production/use. A reproduction air cleaner service decal has been added to the front area to mimic the original silk-screened version.
The tri-power carburetor flanges feature the same smaller flanges - correct for the Cadillac applications with Rochester carburetors. This assembly is specific to 1958 cars due to the carburetor flange dimensions and height, as well as the triple wing nut wells on the lid. This assembly is very different from the similar Chevrolet tri-power assemblies from 58.
An original starburst OEM lid presents nicely and enhances the assembly. It features the correct triple wingnut wells and filter ridges.
As an added bonus, an NOS perforated high performance air filter replete with ridged indented filter nomenclature completes the package, along with period correct wing nuts.
This assembly is very nice and appears as an original (not over-restored)- it will enhance your restoration. Best of all, it is a very rare and genuine GM part!

APPLICATIONS
This assembly is correct for the following 1958 390 tri-power models:
CADILLAC
El Dorado, Biarritz, Seville, Series 62, Convertible
This assembly is correct for the 58 due to the factory carburetor flanges (all small) and height of the stacks. It may fit the 1959 models as well which has been updated with the smaller carburetors, but differs significantly by way of the star burst lid and prominent wing nut stanchion used on 58 models.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory tri-power Rochester carburetors with the thre small center flanges. If you have modified your carburetor, intake manifold or valve covers, please inquire first prior to bidding to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
