1967 MOPAR GTX 440 SUPER COMMANDO CORONET R/T CHARGER 440 MAGNUM DUAL SNORKEL AIR CLEANER
OEM 1967 Mopar 440 Magnum Coronet R/T Charger 440 Super Commando GTX Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner. This assembly has been media blasted and refinished in black wrinkle to present a period correct image. The 18.5" top is in very nice condition and features the dual snorkels without CAP, proper clearances and correct indentations, and a new Mopar air cleaner service decal. The 1967 specific base features the 4 1/8" flange (Carter AFB) and a new Mopar licensed base seal in very good condition. The inside surfaces have been refinished to prevent the typical surface rust that unfinished factory units were susceptible to. A new heavy duty perforated Fram CA127 air filter (matches the HP oval air cleaner style) and period correct wing nut are included to complete the assembly. Note that the wrinkle finish contains typical variations to match that of the factory production methods.
We have listed the assembly to include a choice of one (1) NOS Mopar Performance 440 Super Commando or 440 Magnum pie pan as pictured. Note these are of the orange variety - correct for 69-71, but since they have all been phased out, these are the final remaining choices we have available. Please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure we have the one you need available. Since Mopar Performance canceled production of these, availability has diminished while costs have risen dramatically. If you want the air cleaner without the pie pan, please inquire for the price point (most NOS have been selling for over $300 if you can find one).

Note: this assembly is specific to the 67 440 cars due to the 18.5" diameter, height, ribbing, and 4 1/8" carburetor flange.
FITMENT
The assembly will fit factory 4 barrel Carter AFB carburetors with an original 4 1/8" flange. The base will not fit the larger 5 1/8" Carter AVS/Holley/Edlebrock variations.
If you have modified your carburetor or intake manifold, please inquire first prior to purchase to ensure fitment is correct. Return requests for non-fitment will not be honored.
